Nathan Gardner, I want your babies.

What an ABSOLUTE pleasure it is to log on to deliver my first post match blog today. After a fantastic performance from the mighties (and about time too) the only real talking point was Nathan Gardners magnificent, scintillating, astonishing, amazing 140m try.

The man who has been stung in the face by a thousand bees (Phil Gould) called it "The best individual try you will see" and Ricky Stuart said he couldnt remember "off the top of his head, a better individual effort". This 'expert'reckons it is by far one of the best tries he has ever seen, let alone from someone in the black white and blue.

In a team that is renowned for dour, grinding football and is derided (often justifiably) for being diabolical in attack, it was such a wonderful breath of fresh air to see Nath take the bomb, and set off at blistering pace for 140058 metres to the other corner of the SFS. I was as shocked as I was pleased. And I was VERY pleased. I got a text from a mate (who was watching, like a sook, in the members while every other shark supporter in the ground, including the chairman, was watching in suitable comfort with a nice vista in bay 37) that read "OH MY GOD". That sums up NGs effort.

Bravo mate, if you need a surrogate mother, drop me an email. And without pressure, let me add: DO IT AGAIN!!
